Creation of Student Residence and a residential building next to the Alexandre Herculano High School, in Oporto, including the rehabilitation of a building belonging to an old construction materials factory.

 

The intervention has 1411,5 m2 of gross construction area and is divided in a first phase by demolitions, excavations and retainers and the second phase by rehabilitation and construction.

 

The student residence consists of 5 buildings and a total of 212 rooms. The building adjacent to Rua António Granjo is intended for multifamily housing and consists of a total of 16 apartments, 4 of type T1, 1 T1 + 1, 8 T2 and 3 T2 + 1.

 

The existing industrial chimney will be maintained and recovered for aesthetic purposes and future memory.
